From April 17 to 19, 2026, the 14th International Solar Energy Exhibition – SOLAR PAKISTAN 2026 – was grandly held at the Lahore Expo Centre in Pakistan.

As one of the largest and most influential new energy exhibitions in South Asia, this year’s event brought together over 400 exhibitors and more than 35,000 professional visitors from around the globe, serving as a vital platform for international renewable energy companies to showcase cutting-edge technologies and expand into the South Asian market. Guangdong Bifu New Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Bifu New Energy”) made its debut at the event with core products including PV inverters and lithium iron phosphate batteries, comprehensively demonstrating the company’s technical strength and intelligent manufacturing capabilities in the new energy sector. The exhibition attracted numerous South Asian and international visitors for discussions, generating enthusiastic on-site feedback.

Spotlight on Core Products: Demonstrating Integrated PV & Storage Strength
At this exhibition, Bifu New Energy, together with FRONUS, highlighted its series of PV inverters and lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) batteries. The company specializes in the R&D, production, and sales of PV inverters, solar charge controllers, lithium batteries, and portable power stations. Its products can be widely used in various PV storage scenarios, including residential and off-grid applications. The PV inverter range covers off-grid, on-grid, and hybrid models, suitable for different power levels of PV system requirements. The lithium iron phosphate batteries, with their high safety, long cycle life, and excellent stability, became a highlight of the booth, particularly addressing Pakistani users’ core concerns regarding safety and durability of energy storage systems.
In Pakistan and the broader South Asian market, lithium-ion batteries are rapidly replacing traditional lead-acid batteries. Lithium iron phosphate technology, with its superior thermal stability, longer service life, and better charge-discharge efficiency, has been recognized by local governments and industry bodies as a priority technology route for energy storage. Bifu New Energy’s LiFePO₄ battery series incorporates an intelligent BMS battery management system, ensuring reliable and stable performance even in Pakistan’s hot, dusty, and grid-unstable environment, effectively meeting local users’ dual demands for safety and cost-effectiveness in integrated PV-storage systems.
Rooted in the Pakistani Market, Seizing Blue Ocean Opportunities for PV Storage

Pakistan is one of the world’s richest regions in solar resources, with an average daily solar radiation of approximately 5–6 kWh per square meter, providing exceptional natural conditions for photovoltaic power generation. At the same time, Pakistan faces a sharp contradiction between power supply and demand, with continuously rising electricity prices that have pushed residential electricity costs to relatively high levels. This makes installing photovoltaic storage systems a pressing need for many households and businesses to secure power supply and reduce electricity costs.
In 2024, Pakistan imported 1.7 GW of PV modules and about 1.25 GWh of lithium-ion battery packs, with the import value of PV inverters surging 251% year-on-year, indicating explosive market demand. The Pakistani government has committed to achieving 60% clean energy by 2030 and has introduced a series of supportive measures, including the *2025-2030 Solar Poverty Alleviation Plan* and the Upgraded Net Metering Policy, providing strong policy support for the PV storage market. Against this backdrop, Bifu New Energy’s participation with its core PV storage products precisely addresses Pakistan’s rapidly growing demand for high-quality PV inverters and lithium battery storage systems, laying a solid foundation for the company’s further expansion in South Asia.
Deepening Engagement in the Belt and Road Markets, Forging International Competitiveness through Quality
Since its establishment, Bifu New Energy has adopted a global strategic orientation. Its products have been exported in bulk to several Belt and Road countries, including Nigeria, South Africa, and Pakistan. In 2025 alone, the company achieved a single shipment of multimillion-yuan full-container orders for PV storage products, with total annual orders valued at approximately RMB 200 million, demonstrating strong production capacity and market expansion momentum.
Through its participation in SOLAR PAKISTAN 2026, Bifu New Energy and FRONUS not only showcased the technical strength and product quality of “Intelligent Manufacturing in China” in the PV storage field to the South Asian market, but also established pragmatic and efficient communication and cooperation channels with multiple local Pakistani EPC contractors, system integrators, and distributors. Moving forward, the company will continue to uphold its development philosophy of “technology-driven, quality-first”, consistently increasing R&D investment to provide more competitive PV system solutions for global customers, and contributing more Bifu power to green energy cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative and the global expansion of China’s new energy industry
